As a recognized builder in the region, we're expanding our footprint and looking for a Construction Sales Estimator to help take the company to the next level. This role combines construction estimating and client interaction, supporting projects from early conversations through signed contracts" Success is measured by accurate estimates, conversion rates, revenue contribution, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop detailed and accurate estimates for commercial and residential projects</li><li>Assess project scope, materials, labor, and vendor pricing to develop competitive proposals</li><li>Monitor vendor and subcontractor pricing to keep estimates current</li><li>Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution</li><li>Develop new business through networking, prospecting, and events</li><li>Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets</li><li>Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting</li><li>Build strong client relationships that drive trust, referrals, and repeat business</li><li>Participate in daily sales training sessions.</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Background in construction, project management, or architecture</li><li>3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor or similar environment</li><li>Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail</li><li>Experience with estimating software, project management and CRM tools highly desirable.</li><li>Sales experience is a plus; otherwise, a customer-driven mindset with comfort advising clients</li><li>Clear and confident communication skills</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Employment type: Full-time position</li><li>Compensation: $70,000 base salary + uncapped commission (typical first-year earnings reach $85,000).</li><li>Additional incentives: Up to $20,000 in performance-based bonuses.</li></ul>Benefits: <ul><li>100% employer-paid medical insurance</li><li>Dental and vision insurance</li><li>Vehicle, fuel, and cell phone allowance</li><li>Paid time off and vacation</li><li>Structured training and ongoing support</li><li>Clear growth opportunities in a supportive team environment</li></ul>About JLV ConstructionFounded in 2010, JLV Construction is a New Orleans-based company specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects, including new construction, renovations, and historic preservation.
